This piece is of Leonardo and his studio. This is another version of The Virgin of the Rocks. I have seen this piece in person as well and admired the fine detail work in the plants. This, like St Jerome, is a defining Leonardo work. Here he showcases his studies in botany (the plant life) and geology (the grotto they're in).
